Like many:
There were times I would be watching the news and I would see stories of people in other countrys that were being terrorised. I always felt so sad for them, especially for the little ones,  but went about my business just like many of us do.  Thank goodness it wasn't here and we were safe! Right? 

September 11, 2001:
I was at my job when one of my fellow workers came running by me and grabbed my arm telling me to go to the break room.  I stood there for a second looking at her. Then I followed her and found I was watching the World Trade Center burning from where a plane had hit. At first we all thought it was an accident.  All at my workplace came running in and after a few.... another plane hit!  I called a relative and immediatly he said it's terrorists! He said it might be a terrorist named bin Laden and me being a total DUH, I asked  "Who is bin Laden?"  [ You have to know me I guess, I am always too much into my family and not the best at reading newspapers or grasping names of bad people. I rarely watch tv.]

We were crying and in shock that this was happening. We didn't know anyone at these places but all of a sudden -everyones- safety,  everywhere was being taken away!  Thousand of lives gone in a heartbeat!  Familys loosing dads, moms, daughters, sons, grandparents, aunts, uncles and neighbors......  And for what? Why?

For the next week all I did was watch the news and cry for these families.  I could not stop crying. I have never watched so much tv or read so much online about a person or persons in my life!
I am sure there are many like me that have taken our Freedom for granted and we have all had a major wake up call,  thoughts that it could have been our loved ones lost in that horrible attack.

For all that have lost their lives and will lose their lives to protect us. So our children can live without fear.

For all who are Peace loving people around the world and not just in Ameica!

Because no one should live in fear no matter where they live or what their faith or race may be.

For others who love their freedom and may be looking for information. I will try to keep this site as current as possible.

If one of those very bad people who are a part of this happens to fall on this site ...........
they can see we are -America United- and will always be no matter where we set our luggage!
